Big day today as it was Noe’s birthday. Coming from a CNRS interview debacle, the mood was back to relaxed, and the kids were eager. Hard, in those conditions, to ask the kids for some wrapping paper with home made patterns without enquiries towards Noe checking that she was not looking…in any case, I invited Arzak to help me with the menu
We had popcorn (without the help of the master) followed by Asparagus two-textures with fromage blanc and black olive mousse, followed by beef entrecôte with yellow pepper and chives concoction and fried and baked potatoes with vanilla. For dessert, and with the gifts, we had home made Madeleines and marshmallows.
And we finished off the evening (with kids) by a full-fledged dance party in which some of the top songs one can hear at the Bombardier in Ponferrada could be heard.
