Weekdays, the alarm rings at 6:30, so that, after a quick shower, I can prepare lunch boxes and breakfast before dragging Gadea then Eyquem out of bed (at about 7:05) so that we can make on time (8:05) at Gadea’s school, dressed and after a decent breakfast. Saturdays and Sundays, no need for an alarm clock. But of course, the last few WE Eyquem woke around 6:20…Not this morning. But at 7 sharp, neighbors two doors down got delivery of huge plies of wood. So we got out of bed and went to nervously check how close of our car they were. And too bad for sleep.
