I have flown to Barcelona to pick up a data CD. Tomorrow I will be signing papers at the Belgian consulate in Alicante ensuring Eyquem gets the belgian nationality… at least while Belgium exists. The taxi ride went smoothly, I had printed my boarding pass, so all went well. But my neighbor clearly was tired and smelled of a direct post party flight…was happy to arrive! Then it turns out my hotel floor was out of electricity so they relocated me to a very small room in their more expensive brother hotel. Instead of being in the gothic part of town, i am on plaza catalunya. Not that bad except my suitcase, small as it is no need to check it in to fly) bearly enters with me in the room (somehow the bathroom is ok, but just not for the suitcase) Oh well.
On the rest of the week:
Tuesday, we had a normal day at the office, but one of us had to go for dinner with a speaker (I went). Yesterday, Noe had to teach a class from 5 to 7, and then I went to my usual wine tasting class.Thus we will have had a week with zero evenings together…<\/p>\n
Je suis \u00e0 Barcelone pour y prendre un CD de donn\u00e9es confidentielles. Demain je vais \u00e0 Alicante pour signer des papiers qui deront d’Eyquem un citoyen belge…au moins pour le temps o\u00f9 la Belgique existera. Facile d’arriver \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport en taxi, en plus j”avais mon boarding pass. Malheureusement mon voisin dormait et avait clairement fait la f\u00eate sans arr\u00eat jusqu’\u00e0 devoir aller \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport (mon nez me l’a dit). A Barcelone changement d’hotel: en effet mon \u00e9tage \u00e9tait sans \u00e9lectricit\u00e9…donc passage d’un hotel dans le quartier gothic \u00e0 un hotel plaza de Catalunya…chambre minuscule, il faut choisir entre moi et ma valise (et celle ci est du type que l’on peut prendre \u00e0 bord d’un avion)! D’une fa\u00e7on ou d’une autre la sdb est correcte, mais tout de m\u00eame pas au point de pouvoir y laisser ma valise ouverte.
Sur le reste de la semaine:
mardi, journ\u00e9e normale au bureau mais on m’a coll\u00e9 un diner avec un speaker…sympa mais pas de soir\u00e9e avec Noe. Mercredi Noe devait enseigner de 5 a 7 et moi je suis all\u00e9 \u00e0 mon cours de d\u00e9gustation…R\u00e9sultat, toute une semaine sans soir\u00e9e \u00e0 deux \u00e0 la maison.<\/p>\n
