  • Future of sound

Sorry to be going off topic for a post, but this is exciting news! Just got this video from a wild groupie, who advertises this band as the new thing. Most exciting musical moment in Montreal in 2013 so far (if not in this century). Heck, let’s widen this to north America! Check it out.

  • Canada day

On Canada day/moving day Gadea went to camp. What with the Saint Jean killing one prep day, they couldn’t cancel another day of rehearsal. So Eyquem and I went to Concordia to pick up some stuff, then played with ants, then went to the locker before picking up Gadea… and going to Lisa and Django’s…

  • Eyquem’s ant

Eyquem and friends have been collecting insects…and drawing them.  Here is Eyquem’s ant. Showing all the drawn insects      Eyquem and his ant.

And on Sunday, or last full Sunday in Montreal, we went to the museum. Mostly to see Chihuly. And some of the permanent collection. Great fun. • Visits

We have had some visits. Matys, Sasha, Laure and Xavier came for a nice BBQ, and Flamine and Fabien came too. And we went to Flamine’s birthday party, which happened to be on her real birthday, and Gadea’s, too!

  • Busy month

It has been a busy month…and a busy WE. After Noe’s departure for Bilbao, we had the visit of Mamita and Papito who, to the kids’ delight, even slept at home. Then end of classes, with so job applications, and Gadea’s birthday party, and the trip preparation.  Reading with Mamita and Papito

  • Saturday morning

Weekdays, the alarm rings at 6:30, so that, after a quick shower, I can prepare lunch boxes and breakfast before dragging Gadea then Eyquem out of bed (at about 7:05) so that we can make on time (8:05) at Gadea’s school, dressed and after a decent breakfast. Saturdays and Sundays, no need for an alarm…
